MOVE ON?

Nak belajar sampai Masters/PhD,
Nak grad dengan First Class,
Nak beriman dengan Ilmu,
Nak belajar bersungguh-sungguh,
Nak buang silap ponteng kelas,
Nak buang sikap malas,
Nak buang sikap buat assignment last minute.

Life degree sekarang...
Nak enjoy memanjang,
Nak tuang kelas je (kalau boleh),
Nak relax (malas study),
Nak tidur je,
and memacam lagi.

Aku pun terfikir...

How can I enjoy memanjang,
As ulama' said 'Dunia ni syurga untuk penghuni neraka',
and Dunia ni penjara untuk penghuni syurga',
Orang yang nak masuk syurga ni kena susah-susah sikit,
Bagi yang duduk senang lenang tu,
Apa je hasil yang dia dapat?
Kalau nak berjaya mestilah bersusah sikit,
Kena usaha bebanyak.

Aku tahu...

Aku dah berubah,
Jauh dari kebaikan,
Dekat dengan kemungkaran,
Berpeleseran dengan kawan-kawan aku,
Tak jaga adap,
Tak jaga pemakaian,
Tak jaga maruah,
Tak jaga diri,
Aku boleh berubah.

Sekarang, degree life yang aku lalui...

Bila malas-malas,
Fikir la ibubapa, and keluarga.
Bila nak enjoy,
Fikir hutang2 PTPTN.
Fikir Allah sentiasa melihat kita.
Bila buat baik,
Fikir jangan sampai riak pulak,
Fikir jangan sampai lupa diri pulak.

Walaupun tak setiap detik aku ingat bende ni semua.
Sehari tu, aku fikir apa kebaikan aku da buat harini.
Sikit sikit aku bergerak ke depan, so yang lain bila lagi?
Aku harap sangat dapat MOVE ON ke arah KEBAIKAN.

Life is a Journey

Maka mereka menjawab:
" Benar, bahkan kami menyaksikan"  (Al- A'raaf 7:172)

Public Speaking

You may not realize it, but you use public speaking everyday, although not usually in the formal way most people associate with speaking in public. You answer questions in class, participate in meetings at works, tell classmates about a concert you attended or persuade friends to go to a restaurant you like. See?? You are use public speaking everyday :)

Public speaking is one of the ,most practical classes you'll ever take, and here's why: You often may be required to give presentations in other classes, with effective speaking skills give you a tremendous advantage in future such at work. Public speaking ability helps you become a more active member of your community, allows you to participate more fully in organizations you to, and boosts your self-confidence in both personal and professional contexts. It's no wonder that so many college graduates say public speaking was of the most beneficial classes they took in school.

When you need to do presentation sure you will feel fear and nervous. But, do you know that you'll never be completely free of your fear of public speaking even you are practicing everyday. Why? Because those feelings motivate you to prepare for your speech. When you think about the day you're scheduled to speak, yo should feel little jolt and think, ''I need to finish my speech,'' "I need to learn more about my audience," or "I need to practice my speech again." Without nervousness to motivate you, you might not prepare thoroughly for your speech, and will likely do poorly as result.

Visualization, relabeling and relaxation technique help you increase your confidence as a speaker and decrease your nervousness. Still, you need more than the right mental framework to manage your fear of public speaking. Thorough planning, preparation, and practice give you the confidence that you e truly ready for your presentation. All speakers must learn to live with feelings of nervousness.

#I hope this entry are helping you :)

RAMADAN :)

Ramadan is one of the important Muslim celebration. Every years, during the month called Ramadan, Muslims fast during the hours of daylight. The custom of fasting in Ramadan goes back to the time of Rasulullah s.a.w. He taught us that the fast was important, because it was a sign that we had submitted to Allah.

Allah s.a.w says in the Qur'an what may be interpreted as
"O" you who belive, fasting is prescibed for you as it was prescribed forthose before you so that you may achieve Taqwa (righeousness, God-fearing)." [Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 183]

The prophet Muhammad s.a.w said,
"Whoever observes the fast during the month of Ramadan, (while) believing in Allah and seeking His rewards, will have his past sins forgiven." [Reported by Imams Bukhari, Muslim and others]
Fasting the month of Ramadan is one of the main pillars of Islam. It is obligatory upon every sane, healthy Muslim whose reached puberty and not traveling during the time of fasting. As for women, they must not fast if they are period (menstruating) or having post-childbirth bleeding. Fasting is very hard but we as Muslims believe that it teaches them to have patience, not to give up just because things are difficult. It also reminds us that our religion (Islam) is the most important thing in our lives, far more important than food and drink.

The benefits(fadhilat) of Ramadan

Besides fasting, we should not forget about solat (prayer). As we know prayer is fard (obligatory) for all Muslims expect those who retarded, prepubescent, very sick, and etc. Solat is performed five times in a day:
  • At dawn = Solat Subuh
  • Midday = Solat Zohor
  • Afternoon = Solat Asar
  • Sunset = Solat Maghrib
  • Evening = Solat Isyak
Prayer is always directed in direction (qiblat) of the Kaabah shrine in Makkah. A prayer mat, "sejadah" is commonly used during solat. Solat may be performed individually, but it carries special merit when done with other Muslims. The focal prayer of the week is the midday prayer at the mosque on Fridays. In Ramadan, all the kindness that we done was carries special merit. Ramadan is the best month among the month as it gives us many opportunity to grab the special merit that other month didn't have.

SELAMAT MENYAMBUT RAMADAN AL-MUBARAK
